技術說明

本發明為一種整合微管道之晶片式微型噴嘴，可應用於液相質 譜儀的檢測分析。特點是將微電灑離子化噴嘴整合於高分子材 料的微流體管道晶片上，達到一體成型的目的，並可產生微電 灑液滴，以增加質譜訊號的穩定度，以及訊速且精確地分析樣 品。傳統的微電灑噴嘴則是將毛細管接在晶片上，此法最大缺 點在於毛細管和晶片接合處會產生滯留體積(dead volume)，對 於電噴灑和訊號穩定影響極大。本裝置重點在於利用準分子雷 射微細加工，在晶片微管道的出口精密加工出微小的噴嘴形 狀，為一種一體成型之製程，可改善傳統作法的缺點。本發明 可被應用於生物、化學、醫學等領域的質譜檢測分析。 The invention is regarding a micro electrospray nozzle integrated with a micro channel, which could be applied on mass spectrometry for protein analysis. The microdevice for electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) was fabricated on polymer substrates using excimer laser micromachining techniques. The microdevice can be mass- produced at low cost and used as a disposable device to generate ESI-MS signals for protein identification from low amount of protein samples. Compared with commercially available nanospray capillary tips, the module gave better signal quality and also offered advantages in convenience and easiness in operation, permitting repeated usages, and disposability.
